Britannia Season 4: Eight months have passed since all episodes of Season 3 of Britannia were made available to audiences, therefore it is logical to question the viability of Season 4.
Season 3 rescued us in August 2021, when major series such as The Witcher and House of the Dragon were experiencing delays because of Covid.

Britannia Season 3 Finale Recap
In the final episodes of Season 3 of Britannia, Cait discovers that the only way to unite the Brittanic tribes is to acquire the Sacred Spear of the Silver Dawn, whose whereabouts are known only to Lucius. Cait learns that there is a traitor among her allies, but she does not yet sure who it is. This further complicates matters.
Cait returns to the Roman camp to locate Lucius and get the spear’s location from him. She eventually locates him, and we see Lucius whisper in her ear, but we do not hear what he says.
A few seconds later, Hemple enters and murders Lucius while also injuring Cait. Divis then rescues her and transports her away from the camouflage to a safe location. The bombshell revelation of the third season, the long-awaited identity of the traitor, is then revealed to be none other than Divis himself.
Britannia Season 2 Finale Recap
Phelan (Julian Rhind-Tutt) digs up his sister’s head at the start of the episode. Quane (David Bradley) is waiting for him when he turns around, asking what he did. Phelan claims that he made amends prior to cursing. The army of Aulus (David Morrissey) marches across the landscape.
Inside the city walls, Amena (Annabel Scholey) is waiting. On her way to meet up with Veran, Ania (Liana Cornell) notices the Roman troops (Mackenzie Crook). Eleanor Worthington-Cait Cox conducts a dignified funeral for Millan.
Quane is begged to kill Phelan. Phelan bemoans the fact that he has endured more than anyone else. In order for Quane to read the terrible on his sister’s forehead, he digs up her head once more.
Phelan ponders which flame and in which direction he ought to carry it. He says he wants to go home right away. They converse on the Gods’ messages while sharing an apple. A little while later, Quane chooses to go. He first tells Phelan that his journey has just started. Ania rushes to Veran as Cait resumes her ceremony.
After a brief exchange, Veran hands her a sword. He wants Ania to tell her brother something. Rushing through the gate, Aulus meets up with Amena. Ania hands Brearn (Caoilfhionn Dunne) and the others the sword. Ania is detained when Harka snatches the sword. When the challenge is won, he promises Brearn that he will deal with her.
For self-defense, Lucius (Hugo Speer) fashions a spear. Amena and Aulus discuss her family and how she handles it. They talk about Amena’s deceased sister, and Aulus acts a little callously. Amena claims that she is not at a fault. She acknowledges that she attempted to detest him, as does Aulus.
Before they kiss, she declares that Aulus is what she wants and that she must fulfill his needs. They engage in sexual activity as Lucius is encircled by Roman soldiers. He converses with Vitus, who appears impressed by the ancient spear’s tip.
They also discuss Aulus and if he was successful in achieving his goals. According to Vitus, people should keep to their strengths.
He was great at tracking down deserters, according to Vitus. They continue talking until Vitus decides to release Lucius and act as if they had never seen him. Amena chooses to go, but she assures Aulus that she will return by dusk. Cait keeps going with the ritual for Mallin, but Quane soon arrives.
He offers to assist her in calming Mallin. He doesn’t have Cait’s trust, and she wants him gone. If she wants him peace, Quane asks. Quane offers the boy a prayer. When Willa (Jodie McNee) finally appears next to Amena, she is still sobbing on the ground.
Amena is upset because Willa failed to defend them. Before claiming that Amena gave Rome pleasure to become a Queen, she claims she had no option. Willa doesn’t think Veran is aware of his situation.
Aulus and Harka cross paths. Before they start talking about Veran, Aulus expresses his admiration for what Harka has accomplished. Harka hears from Aulus about one of his strangest past incidents. Harka informs him that their tale has a very satisfying and different conclusion.
Quane and Cait have a conversation about Veran and other topics. Veran, but not the man she encountered, is 10,000 years old, according to Quane. Was the name of the man she met Hella or Halla? She discovers the origins of Veran and Harka.
Harka and Veran perform rituals later that evening in preparation for the major confrontation. Veran then waits for Harka in the snow after that. A little while later, his brother arrives. He’ll cook the oak, according to Harka. The river is Veran. Harka informs Veran that sending the maiden love ruined Veran’s prophecy.
The blade is hurled into the air as Veran declares that only the gods can speak at this time. Harka prevails when all is said and done. Veran bows, making it seem as though he will allow his brother to murder him.
Harka, however, receives a head injury from a Divis arrow (Nikolaj Lie Kaas). When he learns that he murdered Veran’s brother, he is shocked. Before claiming that he is Veran’s arrow, Veran warns him that he still has a lot to learn. Just before Phelan is about to run into Amena, Veran takes his brother’s head.
They embrace upon seeing one another with joy. Veran brings Harka’s head back to the group. Ania is given her child back. Harka’s head is dumped into the water along with several others by Veran.
Veran guides Divis to the lake of tears. Cait keeps on traveling. She claims to be headed toward Aulus. He replies, “That’s good,” in response.
