Mismatched Season 3 Release Date: There’s no doubt this series has gotten a lot of praise from critics. Netflix would have been stupid not to make a second season of Mismatched. After it came out in 2020, fans couldn’t get enough of it.
Mismatched season 2 has a plot that seems to be changing. Dimple, played by Prajakta Koli, has lost her app, even though it was a genius code, showing that being smart doesn’t mean being business-minded.
In the meantime, Rishi, played by Rohit Saraf and usually a hopeless romantic, has lost all faith in love.
In the story, both characters’ futures are messed up. The second season seems to be about how they will deal with what’s at stake. In Season 2, there are a lot of broken promises, broken friendships, and new romantic interests.
There is also more stress from school and all of its problems. The second season gives our main characters new problems to solve, making people wonder if they will get back together.
Will There Be a Third Season of the Netflix Show Mismatched? Has It Been Renewed or Cancelled?

Mismatched has not been picked up for a third season on Netflix as of right now. It’s not a big surprise since Netflix usually takes time before deciding on projects like these.
It would not be surprising, though, if Mismatched were picked up for a third season, given that the show is well-made, gets good reviews, and keeps its audience. Even though the second season wasn’t as good as the first, it still has great potential.
Mismatched Season 3 Expected Plotline
Season 3 of Mismatched will pick up right where season 2 left off. At the end of Season 2, Rishi posed for a shot with Nandini Nahata and Dimple in the background. As a result, Dimple’s hope of enrolling at NIIT has been dashed. If they can show Rishi and Dimple maturing as people, that would be great.
The final argument they had was completely unnecessary. Every single one of the show’s Dimple and Rishi devotees was devastated by the season finale’s depiction of the two characters. The following season may reveal what happened to Namrata when she moved to Delhi.
Now that Rishi is off to NIIT and Dimple is at a professional crossroads, their relationship will be tested like never before. It’s possible that Anmol and Vinnie are dating. Professor Siddharth and Zeenat’s romance may be explored further. Simran may decide to stop being so hard on herself and start loving who she is.
Mismatched is a romantic comedy series for teenagers and young adults. After getting off to a rocky start, Dimple and Rishi learn to trust one another and eventually fall in love. When Dimple and Harsh break up, she is so distraught that she kisses him in her wrath. The next day, she is filled with remorse.
Harsh successfully handles the situation and soothes her. She begins seeing Harsh at the same time as Rishi begins seeing Sanskruti. Ayesha is Namrata’s true love. Celina comes out as bisexual and in love with Namrata in front of her other hostel residents; she also comes to terms with the fact that she is a delivery girl.
Harsh falls in love with Dimple and decides not to attend Berklee University, despite having paid the entire tuition. After telling Dimple he loves her, he leaves it up to her to decide if he should stay.
When Rishi’s mother got married, he and Dimple learned that they had first met eight years prior in the same hall; Rishi attributes his love of cartoons to Dimple, while Dimple attributes her appreciation of Shrikhand to Rishi. Dimple says it’s all a coincidence, but Rishi insists they were destined to meet. Dimple is devastated by Rishi’s reassurances because she believes Celina disclosed the AntiSosh codes.
Upon witnessing Rishi and Dimple’s embrace, Harsh knew the answer to his question and made up his mind to enrol in college. Dimple expresses regret for the trouble they’ve caused one other and bids Harsh goodnight. Krish cheated on Simran and then blamed her insecurity for the breakup.
Anmol submits to therapy because Professor Siddharth demands it of him. Initially hesitant to speak up, he eventually realises that his pent-up hostility is directed towards his younger self. Anmol’s personality is gradually changing in profound ways.
After Namrata’s parents discover her sexual orientation and confine her in her room, she runs away to Delhi with her girlfriend Ayesha. She is able to elope with the aid of Celina.
Nandini Nahata visits the university to conduct interviews with each and every student, and Rishi and Dimple arrive late for theirs. They manage to persuade her to agree to an interview with them. However, although Rishi’s interview went well, Dimple’s did not. After a fight, Rishi and Dimple ended their relationship.
Siddharth, during the goodbye party, encourages Nandini to put Dimple’s name on the list of NIIT applicants because she is one of the best. Meanwhile, Siddharth and Dimple are having a conversation in which he fills her in on his relationship with Nandini.
They had been lovers in the past, but she went ahead with her career while he stayed behind. ‘Why do you think you have to pick between love and career?’ he probes. She says, “Why can’t we select both?” and he warns her not to make a decision she’ll come to regret. Namrata encourages Rishi to put aside his fantasies of a picture-perfect Bollywood romance and make amends with Dimple.
They resolve to give their love another shot and embrace one other. Here comes Nandini and she begins to name the lucky pupils. Four individuals, Anmol, Celine, Krish, and Rishi, were chosen. Nandini witnessed the closeness between Zeenat and Siddharth and made the conscious decision to forego taking Dimple’s name.
The chosen students will get the opportunity to take a picture with Nandini Nahata. Rishi doesn’t want to go, but Dimple makes him.
It has been Dimple’s ambition since she was a little girl to sit in this same seat, and Rishi understood how much it meant to her. It everything came crashing down on Dimple’s hopes and dreams. As the series concludes, we see Rishi and Dimple both in tears.
