In an interview after the season two finale, Patrick Stewart provided EW readers a hint about how the Next Generation actors will return for season three:
Even if we end up running into them, it won’t seem like a reunion. We’re not talking about a simple get-together. I can’t reveal too much about what will happen in season three, but I will say that everyone has a purpose. How the long-established characters we’ve come to know and love have evolved will take up a sizable chunk of the narrative.

The Cast of Picard Season 3
Season two of Picard concluded with the return of regular cast members Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard), Michelle Hurd (Rafi “Raffi” Musiker), Evan Evagora (Elnor), and Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine).
