The Rings of Power tells the story of a group of Harfoots, including Nori Bradyfoot, during their "Wandering Days." This was a time when they moved around a lot, including when they crossed the Misty Mountains.

This lets us see all the different parts of Middle-earth through the eyes of our 3-foot-friends.

Nori's group of Harfoots are on the move in the fantasy series. The exact place where they started their journey and where they are going are not yet clear.

We do know that the Harfoots are in the Rhovanion area of central Middle-earth when we first see them.

And based on how the landscape is changing and what we can see of maps, it looks like the Harfoots are definitely moving east, towards the Southlands and what will become Mordor.

This move to the east could be how the Harfoots fit into the story as a whole.

It could also be how The Stranger finds out who he really is if he meets someone who already knows who he is.

We also know that, according to the prologue in The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, no one knows why the Harfoots moved over the Misty Mountains and into Eriador.

But it's thought that it could be because men are moving into new places and evil is growing in Greenwood (later renamed Mirkwood).
