The animated show What If…?, based on Marvel Comics, explores the multiverse’s alternate timelines and what happens to those who mess with them. The series was worth watching because of its intriguing what-if scenarios, like what if Captain Carter became the first Avenger or Ultron won?
What If the Season 2 Release Date
What If…? Season 2 begins in early 2023. Despite being close, we don’t have a date yet. During the first season of What If…?, a second season was announced. A.C. Bradley, head writer, says Disney Plus will air the second season in 2022.
Planning the second season while making the first is a good sign. One idea was moved to the other set of episodes, indicating development.
As you know, animating a movie takes time. Marvel Studios producer Mark Winderbaum told Collider, “We were lucky to receive the go-ahead for a second season early enough to release it next year.” We’ll see. I won’t predict the future in this new world, but we’ll release it annually.
